Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is developing a US$4.2bn Urea Project in Karratha, Western Australia - the largest of its kind in Australia and among the largest urea fertilizer facilities globally.
The project marks the largest investment in Australia’s fertilizer industry to date, with an expected annual output of 2.3 million tons of urea. The project is strategically positioned to strengthen the Australian domestic production capacity, to reduce reliance on imports, and to support food security for up to 90 million people globally.
